And so we enter into the final phase of the "death to the octopussies" post-sub-production...
In times past, the octopussies would hang out all night and pass the laptop around to work on the so called edit. The results were rather random given the group method, either incoherence ala "travel convergence" or lucky coolness ala "Mr. Cool".
Here's the idea, we all have access to the footage. We take turns editing the movie. Editing novices and experts have equal weight in the e…

Death To The Octopussies. R.I.P.
I offered libations on the plane for their demise.
The League of Indecency hosted our Party at the End of Time. It truly was.
Everyone, THANK YOU.
I'm going to bed. For a week.

Having participated in the death of the octopussies, here's the part where I channel
Andre Breton, surrealist theorist.

The art we have created is a collective dream. Art transforms experience. As a shared experience, it transforms how we share our life energy with each other.
We seek the source of life subconsciously as the source is beyond words. We seek it through dreams, automatic writing, emotions, and bod…

We've discovered to noone's surprise that its difficult to get people organised in San Francisco. This is because the people here are all constantly stoned, eating raw food or entombed in the underground BART systems going under hills for ever and ever.
Dave and Al came in last night with guns blazing from Chicago. Al's getting lights and equipment for tonight's shoot in 'million fishes' gallery. Dave's looking for a drum.
Our footage will prove that everyone in the Octopussy…

Thomas, Dave and Andrew set off early yesterday on a little adventure in the woods. Dave wore his bearskin, Thomas skinned a boar, and Andrew wore his bare skin.
We shot some trees, they were very uncooperative, just standing there, being all inanimate and redwoody. Big deal, thousands of years old, huge and imposing wooden trees. We stood inside them and scared the tourists. Redwoods make you feel suitably small and insignificant, something we should all feel from time to time. We tri

Last night was my first day shooting and it felt great to turn on the camera and point it at funny looking people doing strange things in the night.
We started with a round table discussion about what the hell are we doing with no concrete solution but lots and lots of ideas drawn on big pieces of cardboard. So it turned out exactly as we would have hoped.
Cindy the Costume Designer turned up around 6 p.m. so we decided she'd play a manifestation of good and evil in the Assassin

Well!
Good tidings from Ireland. I hope i haven't missed all the fun already! I can't wait to shoot this movie, the rehearsals look mad altogether. I'm practicing my dance moves and I'm ready to break out the secret stash of jiggy wiggy if needs be.
I figured it would be nice for us all to have somewhere to put all our stuff and touch each other in an electronic way, so to speak. So please use this site for whatever you see fit and have fun with it. I'm sure we'll use everything fo…
