Bad Angel/Good Angel

Last night was my first day shooting and it felt great to turn on the camera and point it at funny looking people doing strange things in the night.

We started with a round table discussion about what the hell are we doing with no concrete solution but lots and lots of ideas drawn on big pieces of cardboard. So it turned out exactly as we would have hoped.

Cindy the Costume Designer turned up around 6 p.m. so we decided she'd play a manifestation of good and evil in the Assassin Priest's mind as he grapples with his mission to kill the Boddhasatva. Cindy froze her ass off in the parking lot near the church where we shot some stuff.

Then we went to the church and disturbed the homeless in the archways while condemning ourselves to eternal damnation.

Some shaky starts for me, its the first day of my shoot so of course a couple of things went wrong. We're working on improving the process and making sure there's some consistency in the story. That last thing should be interesting, we're going to the woods today and the beach to light a big fire.

I came to the cafe this morning to post some video from last night but i brought the wrong cable for the video camera, so alas you'll have to wait to see the chaos.

Its great to see the slow build to Saturday night's Party At the End Of Time, but we have an awful lot of work to do. Lots of people taking part with great talent though, so we can't go wrong.
