Death to the Octopussies!

Holy Shit! Does this mean the Octopussies Are Going to Die?

Having participated in the death of the octopussies, here's the part where I channel Andre Breton, surrealist theorist.

1.

The art we have created is a collective dream. Art transforms experience. As a shared experience, it transforms how we share our life energy with each other.

We seek the source of life subconsciously as the source is beyond words. We seek it through dreams, automatic writing, emotions, and bodily expression.

We seek the means to manifest an ecstatic communion through art, whether through the exuberance of dance or through the drama of our storytelling.

Before we speak, we move together, we form a circle, we dance to share our energy. Before we speak, we dream together.

Inspiration fuels the beauty of our expression. We release all of it so that we can find the beauty again.

Hence, death to the octopussies.

2.

When we speak, we pour a libation to the muse and invoke her benevolence. We speak in turn and create space for each other. We tell each other the path we have traveled and the choices we have made. We say anything.

Then we dance, preferably as soon as possible.

3.

When we dance, we dance together and we dance by ourselves. We create a space where fear is a stranger and we can share in each other's beauty.

4.

When we say goodbye, we think of the past, present, and future.

I am grateful for this experience we shared. Thank you.

Now...

when and where will the next party be?!
